Internal thread ring gauge

The internal thread ring gauge is used to measure the correctness of the external thread size, with one piece at the through end and one piece at the end. The stop ring gauge has grooves on the outer cylindrical surface. When the size is above 100 millimeters, the threaded ring gauge is of the double shank threaded ring gauge type. The specifications are divided into three types: coarse teeth, fine teeth, and pipe threads. Thread ring gauges with a pitch of 0.35 millimeters or less and higher than level 2 precision, as well as thread ring gauges with a pitch of 0.8 millimeters or less and level 3 precision, do not have a stop end.

Internal thread ring gauge is a type of thread gauge used to detect external threads. It is mainly used for threads that only require helicity, and is made and tested using thread gauges according to the Taylor principle. The intermediate diameter of the control effect on the end does not exceed the larger physical size, while also controlling the bottom diameter.

Due to the comprehensive inspection of internal thread ring gauges, which simultaneously detect several elements such as pitch, pitch, and tooth profile half angle, while ordinary threads mainly focus on fit and connection, the standard only specifies the pitch tolerance. Therefore, using a thread gauge to detect threads only accurately detects the pitch, and other geometric parameters are not accurately detected. To measure parameters such as thread pitch and tooth profile half angle, a tool microscope is required for inspection.
