Ground track

The ground rail, also known as T-groove ground rail, ground beam, ground groove iron, foundation groove iron, cast iron ground rail, and strip platform.

Installation technical documentation

1. The burial of the ground rail should be level with or slightly higher than the ground decorative layer by 3-5mm

After the installation of the ground rail, the horizontal deviation within any 1m length should not exceed 1mm, and the total length should not exceed 2mm. The horizontal deviation of the corresponding point between the tracks should not exceed 1mm, and the parallelism deviation between every two tracks should be less than 2mm.

3. The fixing method of the track is to firmly fix it with M8 iron expansion nails or shooting nails on both sides of the inner side of the track at the required spacing (about 500-700mm). The bottom of the track should be tightly adhered to the ground without any virtual gaps to prevent bending and deformation of the track after being loaded.

Main purpose of ground rail

The ground rail is mainly designed and assembled into a casting beam platform based on the fixed points of the equipment, which is used for the assembly, testing, welding, and inspection of large equipment. The advantages of using ground rails, T-groove ground rails, ground beams, ground groove irons, and foundation groove irons are that they do not need to be made into large platforms, which saves material costs and occupies very little space! It can be said that the cost-effectiveness is very high.

Maintenance of ground rails

1. In order to avoid deformation of the ground rail, four steel wire ropes of the same length should be used to hang the four lifting holes on the ground rail during lifting, and the ground rail should be smoothly lifted onto the transported goods.

2. Place and level the support points of the ground rail, ensuring that each support point is evenly stressed and the entire ground rail is stable.

3. The ground rail should be cleaned in real time when not necessary, then coated with a layer of rust proof oil and covered with rust proof paper

4. The ground rail should be installed in a ventilated and dry environment, and kept away from heat sources, corrosive gases, and corrosive liquids.

5. The ground rail shall be inspected on a weekly basis according to national regulations, and the inspection cycle may be 6-12 months depending on the detailed situation

6. When installing the ground rail system, the various support points of the ground rail should be padded and compacted with adjusting shims, and the ground rail should be adjusted to a passing accuracy by skilled personnel.

7. In order to avoid overall deformation of the ground rail, after use, the workpiece should be removed from the ground rail to prevent deformation caused by long-term heavy pressure on the ground rail.
