Cast iron V-shaped frame

Generally, V-shaped frames are made of two pieces, and the flat surfaces and V-shaped grooves of the two pieces are ground out during one installation. The parallelism and perpendicularity error between the dimensions of the V-shaped frame and its surfaces are within 0.01 millimeters. The centerline of the V-shaped groove is within the symmetry plane of the V-shaped frame and parallel to the bottom surface. The concentricity and parallelism errors are also within 0.01 millimeters. The half angle error of the V-shaped groove is within the range of ± 30~± 1. The V-shaped frame can also be used for marking. The V-shaped frame with a clamping bow can firmly clamp cylindrical workpieces on the V-shaped frame and flip them to various positions for marking.

The bearing requirements of cast iron V-frame: The bearing capacity of cast iron V-frame refers to the deformation deflection of the cast iron V-frame after the weight borne by the V-frame per unit area. For ease of understanding, we can consider the pressure that a cast iron V-frame can withstand after placing the workpiece without affecting normal use.

The use of cast iron V-frames is relatively rare, generally used in V-frames with smaller specifications and higher precision requirements, such as grinding V-frames, whose precision can be used for V-frames with precision above level 0;

The use of cast iron V-frames is relatively widespread, which reduces the cost of V-frames, has a short production cycle, and is one of the reasons why manufacturers and users use simple processes. The gray iron in V-frames can also be classified according to their row numbers, and the selection of row numbers for V-frames is based on actual needs.
