Marble platforms and marble components are both processed from marble, with similarities in performance and characteristics, but also many differences. The requirements for the external dimensions of marble platforms are not very strict, while marble components are different. As many components need to be assembled with other equipment, they must be completed strictly according to the required dimensions.

Marble components have the following major characteristics:

1. No scratches, not hindered by constant temperature conditions, and able to maintain temperature measurement accuracy at room temperature.

2. Not afraid of acid and alkali erosion, will not rust, does not need to be oiled, is not easy to stick to dust, easy to maintain, and has a long service life.

3. Non magnetized, able to move smoothly during measurement, without any sluggishness, unaffected by moisture, and with good flatness.

Marble platforms do not have such strict requirements for external dimensions, at most they require precision on several surfaces at the same time, and generally do not require drawings for processing. Marble platform is an inspection and measurement tool, which is an ideal reference surface for the inspection of instruments and mechanical components, especially suitable for measurement work.

2. The requirements for the external dimensions of marble components are quite strict. The external dimensions should be controlled within 1mm, and various surfaces of the components may require countersunking, through holes, slotting, etc. The finished marble components often need to be assembled with other equipment to form a new product, and the requirements for hole positions are also quite strict. Therefore, during processing, they need to be processed according to the pictures.

Marble components can be used on measuring machines and coordinate measuring machines, as well as on printing equipment. Marble components are drilled (embedded with steel sleeves) and slotted according to the actual needs of customers on the basis of the original marble platform; Finding parallelism, flatness, and overall technical requirements are much stricter than ordinary marble platforms. The production and manufacturing process is the same as marble platforms, which are both machined and manually ground.
